Dropbox auto-import

Automated real estate photo editing straight from Dropbox

Upload a shoot to Dropbox the way you already do. Stager AI picks it up, merges your brackets and edits every photo with your settings, while you drive to the next house.

  • One folder, every shoot
  • Starts 10 minutes after the last file
  • Read-only access
Why automate

The upload is the step you can stop doing

Automated real estate photo editing starts where your files already go. Most photographers and teams already put every shoot in Dropbox. Auto-import turns that folder into your editing queue.

No extra step

Your photographers keep uploading to Dropbox. Nobody downloads, renames or re-uploads anything.

Same settings every time

Editing style, perspective, photographer removal, fire and plate blur are saved once and applied to every shoot.

Edited before you're home

Processing starts on its own 10 minutes after the last file arrives, even when your laptop is closed.

How it works

Set up Dropbox auto-import in three steps

Dropbox auto-import feeds Auto HDR, the Stager AI editor for real estate photographers. You set it up once from your account page.

  1. 01

    Connect and pick a folder

Sign in to Dropbox, give read-only access and choose the folder to watch. Team spaces work too.

  2. 02

    Save your settings

Pick your editing style and switch on perspective correction, photographer removal, fire in fireplace or plate blur.

  3. 03

    Upload a shoot

Add a subfolder per shoot. 10 minutes after its last file lands, it becomes a project in Stager AI and is edited.

The details

Built for how shoots really arrive

Files trickle in from the car, from an assistant or from a teammate's laptop. Auto-import waits for the shoot to finish uploading, then takes it from there.

One shoot per subfolder
Each subfolder of the watched folder becomes one project, named after the folder. Late files become a new batch in the same project.
Files
RAW (ARW, CR2, CR3, NEF, DNG, RAF, ORF, RW2 and more), JPEG and TIFF. Duplicate files are skipped.
Access
Read-only. Stager AI reads the folder you pick and never writes, moves or deletes your files.
Results
Edited photos land in your Stager AI project, ready to review, download or deliver.
Who it's for

For anyone who already lives in Dropbox

Real estate photographers

Upload from the car or the office and come back to edited photos, without opening another app.

Real estate media companies

Point every photographer at one team folder. Each shoot is edited the same way, with nobody moving files.

Real estate agents

Shooting your own listings? Drop the photos in a folder from your phone and get them back edited.

Read-only, and only the folder you choose

Stager AI asks Dropbox for read-only access. It only processes files uploaded to your watched folder after you connect it, and never changes anything in your Dropbox.

Pricing

Auto-import is free

Connecting Dropbox costs nothing. Each photo it edits uses 1 photo credit, like any Auto HDR edit. Plans start at 10 photos a month, and unused photos roll over.

No subscription? Ask us in the chat for a pay-per-photo deal, as low as $0.25 per photo depending on volume.

Questions about Dropbox auto-import

You connect Dropbox and choose a folder. Each subfolder you upload there is treated as one shoot. 10 minutes after its last file arrives, it's sent to Auto HDR and edited with your saved settings.

So the whole shoot is there before editing starts. Uploads from the field often arrive in bursts, and brackets need to be grouped together.

No. Access is read-only, so edited photos appear in your Stager AI project, where you can review, download or deliver them.

The ones you save for the connection: editing style, perspective correction, photographer and camera removal, fire in fireplace and license plate blur. They apply to every shoot until you change them.

Yes. Dropbox Business team folders are supported, so a whole team can upload into the same watched folder.

Only files uploaded after you choose the folder are processed, so old shoots aren't edited by surprise.

The shoot stops with an out-of-photos message on your account page. Add more photos to your plan and retry it from there.
